The 4 or 5-step process begins in early spring with a crabgrass preventer (19-0-3) that includes Regain® stabilized nitrogen and Dimension® for pre- and post-emergent control. Late spring follows with a broadleaf weed control fertilizer (20-0-3) utilizing Surge® for superior weed management. In summer, an extended-release fertilizer (24-0-3) ensures up to 12 weeks of green-up with iron and micronutrients. An optional insect and grub control application (18-0-3) provides season-long pest defense. Early fall repeats broadleaf weed control, while late fall (26-0-3) strengthens roots for winter hardiness.
